Where to Take the Family Camping in Wales
Cosy Under Canvas, Powys
Take your pick from unique yurts and domes at the Cosy Under Canvas glamping experience. You’ll find yourself in the most idyllic natural woodland surroundings, just a stone’s throw from Hay-on-Wye and Offa’s Dyke.
Getting back to basics and lighting a campfire is actively encouraged here. So cook up a meal on the camping stove in the shared deck kitchen, toast marshmallows for the kids, or have a BBQ.
Fun can be found in the woods with a willow tunnel, a bracken den, and a recycled tyre swing before you explore the water meadow area with a paddle in shallow streams and play pooh sticks on the bridge. Need a little peace? Laze in the hammocks to absorb all the quiet and scenery the site has to offer or take a dip in a wood-fired hot-tub.
To complete the cosy experience, all units have a stylish wood-burning stove that can be stoked up to keep you toasty overnight.
