How Often Should I Clean My Mattress?

how to clean your mattress Consider buying a mattress protector to help cover your mattress and keep it cleaner. Look for one that is waterproof and hypoallergenic.

Washing your mattress protector at least once a month will help to keep it fresh, and then you can do your deep vacuum clean 2-3 times a year when flipping/turning the mattress.

However, if you don’t use a mattress protector, you should consider cleaning your mattress every month to remove dead skin cells and dust mites that accumulate.

If you like using a mattress pad or mattress topper to make your bed softer, you should put that between the mattress protector and your fitted sheet.
