Halloween is a great time to get creative, and when it comes to baking a Halloween cake you can step out of your comfort zone to try something completely different. The best bit? If you make a mistake, you can just say it was meant to look scary…!

Using box cake mix, frosting and edible eyes, you could easily make this at home. Pick your favourite Halloween colours for the icing, and the little monsters on top are made of icing too!

Transform any cake into an eyeball showstopper with this great Halloween cake idea using Oreos from Reluctant Entertainer. Split the Oreos in half and use mini ones, chocolate buttons or similar to complete the eye.
