To celebrate STEPS Engineers Week 2021, we have teamed up with Engineers Ireland to givea away a cool Lego Boost Creative Toolbox Set!

STEPS Engineers Week will take place from February 27th until March 5th to help inspire the next generation of engineers and excite students about the possibilities a career in engineering can offer.

There will be lots of great events for families to explore the fun world of engineering. The aim is to generate interest and enthusiasm for Engineering in children’s everyday lives.

The initiative, now entering its 15th year, is coordinated by Engineers Ireland’s STEPS programme – funded by Science Foundation Ireland, the Department of Education and Skills and industry leaders ARUP, ESB, Intel and Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII).

The Prize

One Lego Boost Creative Toolbox Set worth over €150.

This fabulous set lets children create models with motors and sensors, and then bring their creations to life through simple, icon-based coding commands. The free LEGO BOOST tablet app includes easy step-by-step building instructions for creating and coding multifunctional models. It includes instructions for five different robots shaped like cats, guitars, and humanoids. Recommended for ages 7 to 12.
